Garden Type: Propagator | Sun: Don't Know | Soil: Potting Mix

I used to have a shadehouse in which I propagated plants from seed and cuttings. Now, I use the various pots and trays and choose a spot in one of the various gardens to place a propagator.

If I need shade or a gentle starting point, I’ll pop it under a tree. If I need a lid I usually put the propagation tray on the side of the house that receives the morning sun only.

Once the cuttings have taken or the seedlings have several leaves, I move them to a more sunny spot or to the garden in which I’m going to plant.
