gardenfae's Raised Veggie Beds (x4) garden

YEAR 1:
In 2007 we tilled a patch of the back yard, and planted rows of seeds! It was our first garden and kind of slap-dash, but it grew and we were so proud!

But we got a late start (planted seeds in May, I think), so only zucchini and lettuce ever got big enough to harvest, before the frost.

YEAR 2:
In 2008, we’re starting the tomatoes and peppers indoors (in Feb.) and plan to build raised boxes and add mulch to our clay-ish soil. The time is almost here to begin! Yay!

Raised beds were a great success in 08!

Starting the veggie garden in 09, have a few things planted, will update later.
