We were able to harvest a few squash from the plants this weekend. They are doing great with no problems and the fruitings look great. I can’t wait to cook them this week.

The soybeans are getting bigger and I cannot wait until I can have some edamame pods for lunch. They seem to be doing great and I have a feeling we will be freezing some pods for winter.

I built a small trellis for the pole beans the other day. I used some old limbs from a plant Tripp trimmed in early spring. The beans are finally having a growth spurt and they are beginning to find the trellis. It’s strange how they reach and latch on.
