Hanging baskets up! 1 Front Yard garden
I am back out of town again this weekend, after hoping I would be home to work in the yard. Oh well… that is what happens when you try to do too much. I got the yard cut this evening, cutting around the daylilies. Unfortunately, the boys who cut my yard mowed down my ‘Chorus Line&#...

Leafing out Hydrangea 'Endless Summer' #2 Breaking Dormancy and Front Yard garden
I was a bit worried about this ES as I’m not sure if it got as much water as it wanted last summer, but it is now happily leafing out.

It's Alive!! 1 1 Clematis 'Fireworks' Breaking Dormancy and Front Yard garden
Wow, what a surprise, my clematis seems to have made it. This plant did not thrive at all last year, I’m afraid it might be in too much shade. I thought it might be a no show this spring, but was happily surprised to see it up and growing. I’m hoping now that it has had a year to s...

Daffodils blooming daffodil Blooming and Front Yard garden
My daffodils have been blooming for several weeks. Not all of them seem to be back from last year and somehow I managed to totally forget about planting any more bulbs in the fall. The snow and ice hit just as a bunch were blooming, but they seem to have rebounded from that fairly well.

blooming by color Crocus and Front Yard garden
Again this year the crocus are blooming by color! They are done blooming now, I think, but were still blooming last week. The purples bloomed first, then the whites and yellows. I don’t think they have increased in number, but they also do not seem to be declining, they just don’t ...
