MurriMurri's Raised Side garden

Garden Type: Butterfly | Sun: Partial Sun | Soil: Combination I'm Organic!

This is the first garden I have cleared, and hence the first garden to plant out.

It is oriented North-South, about 1m wide and about 20m long, down the side of the house, along the fence.

It doesn’t get any sun until about 10am, and the sun is gone again by 2pm. In winter the northern end is shaded all the time, but in summer it gets the full blast of the sun – between 10 and 2 :)

The quality of the soil is not fantastic, and I dont want anything to grow much above 3m high, or wider than the 1m garden.

I am keeping the plants already in the garden (some aloe, boronia, bromilliads), and just planting the rest of the area out with butterfly laval plants, as well as nectar plants to attract the adults.
