After many changes to the size, this garden ended up 16 × 20 feet. The rows run east to west and are 10 feet long. It is now parellel with the east side of the house. There is about a three foot drop to the south east. The northwest corner is level with the surrounding terrain. I hauled black dirt from an old composted brush pile near the wetland area to bring up the garden so it’s level. The potatoes are planted in the northeast quarter with eight plants per ten foot row.and the 12 tomatoes are in the southeast quarter 18 inches from the southeast borderline. That way they can be rotated to the other side next year. Added a bench from the patio to rest on. May 27, the grass seed was applied to the slopes of the bank and covered with grass clippings.
After building this garden for vegetables, I realized we should have our flower garden out in front near our driveway and our vegetable garden in the back yard. So, I planted four rose bushes. The plan is to make this garden 10 × 20 feet. Which will give us more room to work around it.

Containing 6 plants, GeorgeSr's Front garden is an outdoor garden located in Stanchfield, MN, United States.

This is a Vegetable garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 3b. It has mainly Loam soil and receives Full Sun light.
