there’s a serious lack of growing space at our apartment. so I’m headed to the roof. the roof is pitched, and access involves climbing out a second-story window and up a utility pole. the roof is torch-down, i.e. entirely black, so it gets hot—like 120° F hot—which will significantly limit the plants I grow. also, I’ve got to climb out a window and up a utility pole with them. it’s also not an activity I would describe as sanctioned by landlord or apartment manager. should be a hoot.
