I’ve called this my Potted Patio Garden but, in reality, I have potted plants spread all around our garden and up the concrete steps to our house. The steps mainly host potted herbs for culinary use since they are closest to the kitchen. The patio itself has decorative foliage and flowering plants. There’s a windy but sunny spot on the concrete outside our ground floor sitting room patio windows which tends to accumulate pots as well. The only static plants around the patio are two dracaena palms, a large bay tree, a pretty small silver birch, a clump of thuggish but pretty Rosa Rugosa and a several clumps of thuggish and much hated Libertia grandiflora (a prolific self seeder). Otherwise plants tend to be transient, moving in and out as their splendour increases and decreases.
