Update (15.07.09): The first square of the veggie garden has been planted. I’ve also just bought some piping and connectors to make a bird-proof cover for it. Looking to plant the second square soonish. Maybe in a month or so.

Update (19.05.09): The veggie garden has been dug up, weeded adn generally looked after. I’m trying the trench composting method where all the organic kitchen waste gets thrown in a hole, covered up with mulch and soil and then the veggies are planted on top. We’ll see come spring how well that works out :)
