dianestarkey's Raised Bed garden

I had planned on joining a CSA this year at a whopping $450. Then it occurred to me that I could take that $450 and build my very own edible garden that would last for more than just one season. I ultimately settled on a series of raised beds – 10″ high, made of cedar that I bought for a song from a guy on craigslist. All in all, there will be 272 square feet of edible planting space. I’m growing seedlings in the basement now for all sorts of fun things.
