barrelracer82's Square Foot 2 garden

In total, I harvested 4 cups of carrots from these two square feet. There might have been five cups total, but I had already eaten a few over the last couple weeks. I chopped and froze the carrots to use in soups later.

I harvested a few carrots that I could see the orange poking up from the ground. They were good sized and tasted great. The two squares are still quite full of growing carrots.

I have had three cucumbers off of the two plants in SFG 2, but none off the plants in SFG 1. There are lots of flowers, but after they bloom the fruits wither and fall off. I am thinking the hot weather helps them to set. The three I harvested already came after a heat wave, and the ones formin...

I was thrilled to see that we have some cherry tomatoes ripening! This is ahead of my predicted schedule and very neat!
