This container came with the house. I few days ago, I moved the only plant that was in there. It was a sad little plant that was very boring all by itself. I wanted to put some color in there for our very nice mail lady to see every day. When I was delivering the paper, I used to enjoy looking at peoples gardens, and that is the only one that is by the road.
In here I plan to plant morning glories, alyssum, and maybe something else. The morning glories will be trained to go up the mailbox.
I did not throw the sad little plant away, I put it in an old container on the porch where I will add something, a flowering plant or perhaps some coleus to brighten it up. It is some type of ground hugging shrub that hybernates in winter. It is just starting to turn green, and when it is hybernating it is very pokey.
I will be adding a pic to a what’s this plant question later today, to see if someone can help me identify it.
