Plantaholic's Winter Sown 2009 garden

Garden Type: Greenhouse | Sun: Partial Sun | Soil: Potting Mix I'm Organic!

This is my little greenhouse where I decided to try my winter sowing this year. Last year I did the traditional “sowing in containers” with very little success. I can’t pin down for sure what the problems were…all I know is that it was a BIG disappointment. This year, I tried the “baggie” method, used seed starting mix that I pre-moistened then sowed the seeds…starting on Feb. 1, 2009.
