East facing balcony with brick walls unfortunately. However, the sun only needs to be up for about an hour or so for the rays to get over the wall. Gets the sun from sunrise to about 2pm which in the summer is a good 7hrs or so – not bad.
Stuff on here seems to be doing pretty well – it’s now been a good few months since I started gardening on here. I’m pretty happy with it :)

Ah well thank you very much! The cocktail sticks seem to have totally worked – plus I’ve got a couple of rubber snakes standing guard too. I think the magpies take one glance at the balcony now and stay well away – good times :) Hope the harvests meets the expectations! :D
