knowlesie's Spring '09 garden

Garden Type: Flower | Sun: Full Sun | Soil: Combination

Spring has sprung for the UK, the sights and smells of Spring certainly lift the spirits and the work load. My last photo is taken with my thoughts of the rewards of the hard working gardener who can at least take their boots off and admire the view.
My second photo is of my latest Helibore, a flower that is fast becoming a favourite, then in the background of four is the long flowering Chaenomeles which has exceeded expectation.
Unfortunately the weather men tell us that next week we are returning to what is commonly termed typical British weather, cold and wet but never mind summer is just round the corner and you never know we may have a good one, we need something to cheers us don’t we.
