This is just where I’m keeping info about the inherited fruit trees that are scattered about the garden. We have two figs, a plum (we think) and a feijoa that have been identified so far.
there’s also a really interesting vine that produces a purple fruit that look kind of like a fig and smells like rose. It fruits a lot in late autumn – early winter, but there is the odd fruit on it throughout the year. Next time I see one I’ll put up a photo and hopefully someone can tell me what it is.
After this season of fruit, I’m going to give them all a good pruning. they don’t look like that’s been done for several years, so it’ll be good for them.
