At first I didn’t really think about adding this one, since it’s not entirely mine. We live in a three-story apartment building, and technically, only the first few feet from the house are really ‘our land’(that is to say, belonging to the ground-flour apartment, which is ours). The rest is city-owned. But since the city’s idea of maintaining the garden would mean: making it ‘very low maintenance’, by ripping everything out and sowing grass, we decided to take care of it ourselves. It’s mostly the ground-flour apartment owners that do the work though, that’s why it still sort of feels like mine.
