This area used to be a vegetable patch… about ten year ago, and until I started clearing it (around a year and a half ago) had been neglected for most of that ten years.
So I’m slowly attempting to turn it into a real vegetable patch again, even occasionally succeeding before everything dies (with full Australian summer sunlight and sand for soil not being the ideal for a beginner gardener).
Oh and I’m trying to learn how to make this garden organic, yet at the moment I still use normal snail pellets and some fertilizers. Which is terrible, so I’m trying to cut them down.
Currently not growing anything until I get hold of enough manure, compost, mulch and straw etc… to make the soil into something half decent. That and get a sun shade for it.
