Actually, I’m going to categorize all the native plants found anywhere on our upland wooded acreage as “shaded”, because there seems to be no category for this.

We find beautiful or interesting natives growing blooming here and there, many of which are useful in our planted gardens. The ones in this “garden” are all beautiful and enhance any hardwoods area, including a shaded backyard. We gather seed from these beautiful natives, to establish some closer to our house, or to increase numbers already growing wild there.
