The sidewalk pic is very interesting. The house the we are residing in has a stone walkway to the front door. Someone put it in, and then decided that they needed a deck. When they built the deck, they built it right over top of the stone walkway, and did not even bother to match the steps up with what was left of it! So I have dug up most of the stones that are under the steps, and am going to widen the walkway with them. The problem is, that at the end of the walkway, he planted bushes, the width of the current walkway. I like the way that yours was done. That would work well here. Oh, by the way, out of curiousity, what made you pic me as a gardening buddie?
