ceae's Indoor Seedling garden

Garden Type: Indoor | Sun: Don't Know | Soil: Don't Know I'm Organic!

My seedling setup consists of a “mini greenhouse” that DH has rigged up with growlights on chains that can be raised and lowered. I store it in a corner downstairs most of the year, but bring it up to the kitchen for planting time.

I keep two buckets on the bottom shelf (until that gets filled with seedlings too) with seedling starting mix and potting soil.

I have a small potting tray on the top shelf that helps somewhat contain the dirt from flying all over the kitchen when I’m planting and holds all my little odds and ends … seed spoons, dibbler etc…

This year, I’m also going to try some starting seeds hydroponically in my aerogarden … this is supposed to be great to prevent damping off, we’ll see!
