It’s not, really. I have no idea how big the plot is so I can’t really come up with a planting plan. It is supposed to be 400 sq feet, but looking at the area of dirt they’ve dug up and knowing there are 12 plots, I question it could possible be that large. I’ve given up trying to get anyone to answer my questions because no one ever returns my calls or emails. The ‘season kickoff’ for three of the other gardens is tomorrow and mine is scheduled for May 9th. I’ve resigned myself to just waiting until then, and sorting it out on the fly once I get in there.

How frustrating! At this point, it does sound like the least stressful approach would be just to “wing it” once your garden opens…

Yep, that was my thought too, even though it’s completely against my nature to do such a thing, lol! Thankfully I just have a couple more weeks to wait, and lots to keep me busy …

That’s disappointing, but I would probably take your approach also. Good luck!

I measured my allotment by walking heel-to-toe, writing down the number of “feet”, then measuring my shoe afterward (as it turned out, it was almost exactly 12")

How are your tomatoes doing? I lost every single one of my tomato plants to blight. I’m pretty unhappy about it.
