I had it built when we re-landscaped our front and back yards. It is 3′ × 15′. It started out as a square foot garden, but I quickly lost interest in that much structure and now I just try to keep things organized. It doesn’t get as much sun as I would like since it is shaded by the house for a good part of the day, even in summer. But when it does get sun it gets really hot on that side of the house. And the sun radiating off of the side of the house and windows doesn’t help with that. I have trellises in place to grow some vertical plants and to help shade the house.
