In warm weather, the Sunset Garden holds plants for butterflies to nectar: flowers in colors of a sunset: fiery oranges, reds, pinks; tempered with a bit of blue and some white; a kind of butterfly Fiesta.
Butterfly favs include red porterweed, pentas in red, pink and rose, orange tithonia, roses and gaillardia, daylilies and lilies of different hues; dianthus Sweet William and Rose Campion for the time between azaleas blooming and later spring flowers.
