The original Backyard Dog Bone garden has grown to a nice size and rather expanding it further, I’ve started a new area about 2 feet away. This will allow me to have a path between them for easier maintenance and the new area will be shaped differently. I don’t know what it will look like yet, it will just develop as I go along. My garden areas always start small and then expand as I go along to whatever shape seems pleasing to me. Yes, I’m backwards from every good garden designer who has the layouts drawn up in advance and knows what the end result will look like. But, this way works for me so I’ll just stick with it.
