kelly's 4. 2009 Indoor Seed Starting garden

Garden Type: Propagator | Sun: Fluorescent | Soil: Peat I'm Organic!

This garden has been archived.

A place for my seeds in 2009. I’m using 1 cool florescent bulb and 1 warm florescent bulb. 4ft long lights, just enough to squeeze four flats under. I’m using coir – not peat. I stopped using peat in 2007 when I discovered how coir never, ever moulds. It’s great.

This is by far going to be my most intensive seed starting year ever. I plan to have somewhere between 150-200 seeds starting.

Haha, and there’s more to come, that’s the best part! I haven’t started any of the cucumbers or summer squash, never mind all the plants that are getting direct sown outdoors when it’s warm enough.
