SneIrish's New Stuff Planting & Patiently Waiting garden

Garden Type: Propagator | Sun: Combination | Soil: Combination I'm Organic!

First, this is a collection of my attempts to propagate new plants – from seeds, bulbs, rooted cuttings, trying-to-be-rooted cuttings, etc. This isn’t a garden, per se. The plantings of this “garden” are everywhere – in the house, in the herb garden temporarily turned holding bed for the winter, in the cold frame, wherever there is a spot that I think will offer the conditions to make the plant grow!

Second, this is an inventory of all those plants that are patiently waiting for their permanent home to be decided or available. This includes potted up remainders of winter sowing plants, plants purchased from various places and plants I have received from swaps. I feel that I need to track these plants from the very beginning, and then they can be moved to the permanent garden home when they are planted out.

I will try to keep track of all these experiments and adventures as I go along, both the successes and failures.

    @TW, that’s exactly what they are – good eye! They are from an old set that the kids had, and my DH doesn’t have his weight set up at home anymore (goes to the gym now). So we have used them for various homey tasks – this was DH’s idea to make sure the cold frame stayed in place.
