the majority of my gardening activity takes place on my grandmother’s three acres in Woodland, WA. but right now, I’m spending a majority of my time in an apartment in Seattle without access to dirt. I’ve finally gotten around to setting up a spot to start some seeds here in the apartment so I can have some green things to play with. some of the plants will stay here, some I will give away, most I plan to plant in Woodland when they’re strong enough.
initially consisted of a heating mat, a thermostat, and two flats of four-inch pots filled with The Indoor Sun Shoppe’s Sun Shoppe Soil.
latest incarnation is a 12 inch-deep shelf in front of the south-facing window and a small table next to the davenport for the heat mat. worm bin is next to that in the corner. some plants in larger pots are stashed here and there on the floor.
