Garden Type: Frontyard | Sun: Partial Sun | Soil: Don't Know I'm Organic!

“The Borders” is my name for the area on each side of the front walk to the steps and the front door. In the early spring they are filled with spring-blooming bulbs. After they die away, I plant annuals usually with a different color scheme each year. In 2008, they were red and yellow. It used to be a more defined area, but when we widened and expanded the flower beds on each side in front of the house, they just blended into the beds. But I felt the walkway still needed to be a bit more distict and defined with a definite pattern.
