The two oldest stems which I cut out in the spring were trained along the top of the fence so there were roses quite low down. For the record, in bloom are Anna’s aquilegia, Aquilegia Woodford ?; Black Hellebore; Forget-me-nots; Ajuta; English Bluebells; Geranium ?; Dwarf Globeflower; Ladies Bedstraw; coming into bloom are Goats Beard; Astrania rubra and Anna’s hostas.
