I took over this garden in 2008. It is maybe 5’ long and 1.5’ wide with the drip line running down the middle of the bed and with all the beds against the house there is about 6" of dry earth along the house wall. The path bordering it is the main path to the family’s house so lots of traffic including wheels of various kinds.
It gets mid to late afternoon sun only, shaded to the south by a large maple and to the north by the garage. However it gets good light as nothing actually shades the bed.
