rainymountain's 5. East garden

Garden Type: Flower | Sun: Partial Sun | Soil: Combination I'm Organic!

This is a very narrow bed which runs the length of the east fence from the gate to the spruce tree. It is approximately 17’ long, averages 2’ wide, 14" at it narrowest. It is a raised bed of imported soil, which originally had bark mulch banking its edge. The spruce makes this a somewhat shady garden but it gets a baking from the mid-afternoon sun.
