03 May 2009Gerbera has been beheaded 2 Gerbera Daisy Repotted and House plants gardenWell, when I was trying to repot my gerbera daisy the other day, I broke it. The roots were just huge and I had a very difficult time getting it out of the pot (which I wanted to use for something else.) ! I’m wondering if I put the roots in a pot on their own if another plant would bloom....Overcast 16°C / 60°F

About a week ago I potted up some outdoor plants to bring inside. So far so good! Here are a few pictures of them. I hope they keep blooming throughout the winter. I suppose I should fertilize them, but I haven’t bit the bullet yet. I don’t want to kill them and I don’t know...

Hopefully the plant will bloom inside. At least I’ll have it inside out of the chill of fall and winter.
