I take photos of fungi I see on our property. Another member of MyFolia, Tralamader does as well, so I have started this so I can share these photos. We have such a wet year this year there are fungi everywhere.
Austrees's Native Fungi garden is an outdoor garden and is located in Belli Park, Australia and currently contains 10 plants.
This Native garden is listed in Zone 10.Photos

Hi!
I just stumbled across one of your comments in the Aussie forum, and checked out your profile as we have recently moved to acreage and I am trying to figure out what to do with it! When I saw your Fungi garden I thought what an awesome idea! We have 50 acres of virgin bushland on our block, full of amazing plants I have never seen before – including lots of cool fungi. Might have to ‘copy’ your idea!
Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks Ada Lee. We have 63 acres, but about 2/3 is dry schlerophyl forest that the big timber was taken out of years ago. What type of bush land do you have? I get a thrill when I come across a new plant. The challenge is then to identify it. We also have lots of birds which I love.
Have you had rain? We are very dry here. It is the worst we have seen our property in the 19 years we have been here. Fortunately not too many fires at the moment. I have been meaning to take a photo of our brown and dying gardens and writing a journal about it.
I am a member of permaculture, so if you’re interested in planning your different gardens this might be a good place to start. I wish I had found the group earlier.
Check out the wildlife garden as well. If I get a photo of a new animal or bird, I put it here.
