For my first vegetable garden, I decided to do containers for two reasons:
1) The raised garden bed project hasn’t begun.
2) My bf’s small (duplex) backyard is essentially all concrete and bare. Since he’s a
vegetarian and loves fresh veggies and fruit, I’d like to setup a garden over there
eventually.
This garden is located in the backyard of my parent’s home. It is mostly full sun but I have plenty of partial-shade and fully shaded spots if required.
I have an Earthbox for two of the tomato plants that has been equipped with a cage made out of pea fence. This will be my self-watering experiment. Water will be provided through an automatic drip system and manually when needed.
I’m trying to be as organic as possible when it comes to fungicides, pesticides, fertilizers, etc.
I’ve done a lot of researching, but I fully admit I have no clue what I’m doing :)
Lindzey's Container garden is an outdoor garden and is located in Sacramento, United States and currently contains 4 plants.
Situated in a Full Sun position, this Container garden is located in USDA Zone 9.Plantings
