    Sticking with the tropicals. 5 Well-Contained (Or Not) garden
    Maybe I should listen to my head and stick with the tropical vegetables instead.

    Pruned away the brown bits. Checked the soil condition – worms! I can haz worms! :)

    Drenched and almost drowned. 1 Well-Contained (Or Not) garden and Pak Choy.
    Today’s afternoon storm was quite startling in its ferocity. Practically drowned my pak choi sprouts and I had to drain the excess water away. Mmm, muddy water. Suffice to say that I won’t have to water my plants tomorrow, at least those who got the full blast of the rainwater.

    Some minor changes. Well-Contained (Or Not) garden
    Changed hardiness zone to 14 (though I feel that it can range from 11 to 14, depending on the weather). Working in some pruning for multiple plants (the more ornamental ones). Watching the tropical vegetables growing – they like the warmth and nice dosages of rain. Sufficient water is also ...

    And there is one survivor... 2 Well-Contained (Or Not) garden and Tai Tsoi Pruning
    Due to incursions of wind and cat, there is only one tatsoi survivor. The rest (the four) are bent and limp. I ended up sowing more seeds (and probably opening myself up for more heartache). ;)

    Just general gardening stuff. Well-Contained (Or Not) garden
    I removed the plastic netting from the tatsoi planter boxes, so that the seedlings (both tatsoi and pakchoy) would get the full benefit of direct sunlight. Scattered fertilizer (organic, of course) on the lime plants and some of the vegetables. Water, to perk them up. It is getting warmer and war...
