This is the bed under the front window of the house. When we moved in, the landlady already had it planted with 2 shrubs and a mulberry (the kind that doesn’t produce fruit), and a layer of cedar chip. I added a selection of spring bulbs, mostly tulips, which are still doing their best to survive. There are also cillas in the very early spring, which I suspect are the remains of an earlier floral bed in the same location.
