    3rd Try 1 Cucumber 'Lemon' Transplanted and EarthBox garden
    Here goes the 3rd attempt at growing this variety this year. Hopefully it’s big enough the slugs won’t completely kill it. I transplanted it from its pot to an EarthBox.

    Very Happy Chappies! Charentais Melon and EarthBox garden
    When I came down the stairs this afternoon I was pleased to see how vigorous this Earthbox is looking.

    Still haven’t spotted any fruit set but I haven’t looked super-carefully.

    Flowering Along Charentais Melon Flowering and EarthBox garden
    It’s not huge but it’s humming along. I hope I get more melons this year than last. Particularly because the watermelon is struggling even more.

    I don’t have enough energy to do all the things I should do if I were to be giving the EarthBoxes their best chance (emptying out old soil, sterilizing the containers, using brand new potting soil, etc) but at least I’m planting these tomatoes in an EarthBox that was not growing tomat...
