This is my journal on the fall crop of my 2008 garden. I JUST had the land plowed and instead of waiting for someone to come and level it, I took it on with the tiller. I’m sore and worked hard to get the huge lumps out of my garden from the plow, but tilled it enough to get the land ready for planting. I’m not doing the entire garden that way, but just enough to plant the fall crop. I decided NOT to plant the fall crop where the summer crop was. It’s over grown and too grassy. I’ll just spend the fall tilling the summer crop and throwing manure on it for spring.
