Two 6′×2′ bottomless boxes filled with basil, tomatoes, cilantro, cucumbers, squash, chard, beets, parsley, and chives. With some mint plants set off to the side in their own pots. Oh, and lots of worms, too! I’m amazed by how wormy the soil gets.
Perhaps it’s on account of all the rain we’ve had. Things are pretty darn wet and the squash plant is a bit mildewy and cranky. Everything else is thriving, though — including a tomato plant brought back to life after an early purgatory in a too-small container.
Unfortunately, I have to move in September, so all of this is going to get wheel-barrowed over to the new place.
