We have a rather large front yard. Due to the septic being underground there, we can only plant along the perimeter. There are also two areas in front of the house, on either side of our front door and patio. We ripped up all of the previous plants, mostly because they didn’t survive the winter season. Pittosporum hedges were in front of both windows, but it was boring and not very full. Also to the left of the front patio was a scraggly hibiscus and bouganvillea. Everything got pulled except the bouganvillea (it’s a fave of mine). We’ve now planted kalanchoe in pink and white, two white rose bushes, a blue girl rose bush, dipladenia, and more bouganvillea.
