the East wall of my grandma’s house is almost entirely windows with a covered deck just outside. in the summer, it gets pretty gd hot in the mornings. so I’m growing some deciduous vines at the edge of the deck up to the roof to provide a bit of shade for summer mornings and some fresh fruit for warm evenings.
as it’s on the East side of the house, this garden doesn’t get any afternoon sun.
