Well, the strawberry plants haven’t grown that much in a week I don’t think. When the plants are just putting up their leaves, what is that called…sprouting? I’d like to be accurate. Thanks!

02 Jan 2009Putting this garden to bed for the winter Fruit and Vegetable gardenIt’s winter here in Chicago, so the vegetables have all been harvested. I thought I would take a brief minute to sum up. The tomatoes did ok, the zucchini was so-so, and the rhubarb was fabulous. The lettuce did well until I let it go to seed (I’ll try again next year). I’m ...Cloudy -2°C / 29°F
