This is a raised rolling burm that runs down the one side of our property about 60 feet.It sits atop a 5foot boulder retaining wall and its purpose is for screen and privacy. I wanted to create a woodland hedge, so this area is filled with cedar, spruce, tamarack, hemlock, maple and hawthorn trees, as well as hosta, dogwood, ninebark, rudbeckia, bleeding heart, smokebush, potentilla, and stella-dor-o daylilly. The plants and trees are settled in nicely around some nice mossy rocks added into the burm giving it a nice natural effect.
