29 Mar 2009Old Record or Not? Diviner's Sage 'Blosser' and Living a Sheltered Life gardenLooking at the tags in my SD plants, I don’t see Blosser. I see 2 Owens and 2 H&W. Which makes me question why I have a picture of the right decorative pot in this picture yet it says Blosser. I think I’m going to have to archive this.16°C / 60°F

10 Apr 2008Trimmed Maidenhair Fern 'Bronze Venus' and Living a Sheltered Life gardenI meant just to trim the brown fronds off but I noticed the green ones were totally dry. It’s hard to keep this one well-watered because it’s such a small pot. Anyway, I cut it down to the grown. I flushed it with filtered water so that any salt buildup would go out. 10 Apr 2008Trim, Wash, Feed Maidenhair Fern 'Pacific Maid' and Living a Sheltered Life gardenI trimmed all the dead fronds off (and a couple of nice green ones despite how careful I was being). Then I watered it with filtered water until it was thoroughly soaked. I let it drain a bit in the shower. Then I hit it with a bit of diluted worm liquid.Sunny 16°C / 61°F
