I moved into this house in November, which makes this Spring my first one here. I’m still discovering what existing plants are here which is a bit difficult since everything was (and is) overgrown. I’ve got a lot of shrub crowding going on in the back yard that I’m slowly making headway with. I’ve also planted a number of plants and seeds myself in different areas. Some of which I’ve forgotten where and what I planted – not very organized. I’m trying to do better with that and I’ve made a very rough sketch of the different major flower areas in the front yard. I will need to put up some photos of some mystery plants and hopefully I can get some help in that area. My biggest challenge because of the overgrowth, is trying to figure out what is a weed and what is not since it’s not always obvious.
An outdoor organic garden located in Independence, Missouri, United States, Judith505's Flower and Non-Edibles garden currently contains 34 plants.
This is a Flower garden that is known to be in USDA Hardiness Zone 5b. It has mainly Combination soil and receives Full Sun light.Plantings
