I gave the pond to my husband for Father’s Day in 2007. I like to joke that I gave him 100 hours of backbreaking labor for Father’s Day. Nga Jee dubbed the fish Pope John Fish, Moby, and Sourpus (Sourpus is the big orange one in the photo) Sadly, they all died the summer of 2008. Took out SoPo and made it into its own garden.

Looking at these pics caused me to give an involuntary sigh… or maybe it was a swoon. What a lovely spot.

I’m not generally a fan of water features but this is a beautiful example; it looks so relaxing. :-)
