31 May 2009Roots rotted, bought some grown plants instead Strawberries Planting Out and Fruit gardenThe strawberry roots I planted about 3 weeks ago never came up. I dug two up and they didn’t grow at all. Turns out I think I planted them too deeply and they rotted. Not only has it grown lots of mostly healthy leaves, my poor tree has managed to sprout one lonely little flower. Smells great, hope it turns into a lemon.
