This awsome barn foundation/base came with our 3 acres… I had always wanted and dreamed to have one so I could plant beautiful perennials around and up the old walls. I have alot of cleaning up before any planting starts, but I am enjoying my time of brain storming what wonderful things I will find to grow and place in my very own SECRET GARDEN.. Would love any ideas and any great Vines and climbers that would add wonder to the walls.

wow this is going to be a great garden, i would love to see it when u have finished it. you should be able to grow plants out of our zone (how cool is that) you could try laying some timbers over part of the wall and grow a wisteria vine or silver lace which grows quickly or climbing hydrangea or anything else u like up and over the timbers this would add a roof to part of the garden and give u some shade to place a bench or table and chairs. tropical plants would be very nice too. i know of another barn foundation being fixed up in this way outside of walkerton. we also have a barn foundation on another farm that we own but it is not in very good shape and the frost would probably crumble it as well it is not cleaned out and will take some time to do so. keep us posted on how your garden is coming
