I grow a pot garden on the large steps off the deck. Usually I plant seeds that I have collected from my garden the previous year. This year I did cosmos and zinnia seeds, planted in early May. I cheated and used some annuals from the nursery this year as I had knee replacement surgery at the beginning of May. I also planted tomato plants, canna and peruvian daffodils in large containers.
